I want you all to meet Phoebe LaBop…she is GORGEOUS???! The first pic is when I received her on Friday. She came with fairly moist soil and plant food was sprinkled on top of the soil. An extra packet of plant food was also sent to be given to her in 3-4 weeks. But I will see how she acclimates to her new environment. The second pic was from today, Monday (7/11). She was showing signs of dehydration (wrinkly, droopy leaves) so I had to give her a shower because I have her in my living room and my living room receives A LOT of sunlight. So it made sense that her soil dried out so quickly (about 50-60%). The second pic was after I showered her. I would definitely order from this store. I will update in about a month or two to let you guys know if there has been any drastic changes.I received my bird of paradise plant earlier than expected! I was amazed with the amount of care they took with the packaging and the plant looked absolutely beautiful! I bought the plant as a birthday gift for a friend and she was thrilled! I highly recommend purchasing from this company and will definitely be ordering from them in the future! All I can say is WOW, well packaged, fresh plant, bigger than I thought. About to buy more. Definitely a great buy. ❤️I didn't know you could buy large potted plants online! Local nurseries were not able to get them when I was shopping for a Giant Bird of Paradise (under $50 but a decent size). We got ours and it's beautiful. The box was a little damaged and dirt was coming out of it. Also the box was very top-heavy so I had to figure out what was going on.Turns out the plants are wrapped up and packaged upside down so the stems and leaves can hang unhindered during shipping. Seems a little awkward but it works even if the box gets beat up in shipping.Very healthy plant. There were actually 5 separate plants growing in the pot, which is what I hoped for. I gently separated/untangled the roots into 2 different clumps and got to plant them in 2 different locations on the back yard to cover more ground. (I don't recommend separating the plants unless you have help to be sure you don't damage the roots.)They have acclimated very well and have new leaves sprouting up. Some of the oldest leaves are fading away now that it has been 3-4 months but that is normal.Upon arrival the overall plant was at least 36 inches tall 20 inches in diameter with a 10x10 inch pot added to the height. This plant arrived quickly and it was well packaged, and healthy!! I had to clean the leaves a bit because they were dirty, I wiped the leaves with leaf shine and the plant is now perfectThank you!!Will buy more ❤️The monstera deliciosa on the left I bought at the $54 range from Tropical Plants of Florida 3 months ago and the white bird of paradise aka Strelitzia nicolai was purchased 2 weeks ago. Here's the trick people, when you get your plants, as much as you want to, LEAVE THEM ALONE. Let them settle to their new environment before you over love them with h20 and repotting. Leave them be. (maybe very very very gently wipe away pesticide). h20time? No need for fancy shmancy. Just fill a gallon of water 24 hours from the tap and let it sit.In my pic you can see I just opened it. She came very well packaged up, and as soon as I opened I could tell right away how beautiful she was! My fingers are crossed she’ll stay healthy and thriving. I’ll definitely update if things don’t work out, out of my control. But so far I’m wanting to buy so many more from them!Oh and I’m in va if that helps anyone curious about travel and distance.& some mention how messy opening can be- I kept the box standing- cut the tape on one side of the box and ripped it open until I got to the plastic pot part of the plant, and left that in the box as you can see in the pic. I had 0 mess this way. Until I go to repot that is..****The plant is growing well and very green now***
